Good Morning, Hawks!  It’s a brisk morning and I hope you’re staying warm.  But It’s supposed to be another beautiful day so I hope you get a chance to get outside!

Today we have Hawks Nest at 8:35 and time to work independently.

Yearbook Club meets today at 1:00.

Art club will be starting up next Tuesday -- if you are interested, please let Mrs. Rudge know at arudge@asd103.org

Want to show your Anacortes Hawks pride?  Check out our SPRITWEAR sale and order by today to get it by Dec 16th!   See the link on the AMS Website -- ams.asd103.org

On this day in 1896, the "giant Palouse earthworm" was first reported by Rennie Wilbur Doane of the Department of Botany and Zoology at the Washington Agricultural College and School of Science in Pullman (now WSU).  Doane’s earthworms have become legendary -- rumored to spit, smell like lilies, and grow to three feet long -- but are also rare, with just a handful of sightings over the past century.

Happy birthday to Meleny Barajas, Joshua Doebler, Brennan Patt, and Lexie Unterwegner!

Those are your announcements …
Have a great day, Hawks!
